[Addison, TX – June 24th, 2020] evolv Consulting today announced the appointment of two veteran business and industry leaders to their Board of Advisors: Matt Bieri, EVP & CIO of Tyler Technologies – and Paul Shultz, retired Slalom executive. Both join evolv on July 1st as Directors of the Advisory Board; each bringing unique and valued experience in Technology Solutions and Management Consulting.

evolv is a Dallas based management and technology consulting firm, co-founded by industry executives Eric Neef and Mike Bogda. The company wants to bring the transparency and focus that they have seen lacking in traditional consulting. “The business model is simple: bring the right people with the right experience at the right price. Applying that model and sticking to the basics is where other firms tend to stray. We are laser focused on this objective,” said Eric Neef, Co-Founder and CEO.

“We’ve seen explosive growth over the past two years – working with some of the largest public and private Financial Institutions, Healthcare and Retail Companies. Given our plans to grow into other markets locally, nationally and, potentially, internationally, having an Advisory Board with deep roots in those areas is an investment that will help our expansion and solidify our position in the Management and Technology Consulting ecosystem.”, said Neef.

Matt Bieri joined Tyler in 2010 as chief information officer and in February was named the Large Corporate CIO of the year. Previously, he served as chief information officer at A.H. Belo Corporation, where he handled the company’s enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Before joining Belo, he held various executive roles in IT consulting and management, including vice president, global delivery for EDS’ human resources outsourcing organization, as well as served as a chief information officer and chief development officer while at The Feld Group. Matt began his career with Computer Sciences Corporation, serving as systems engineer and programmer before moving on to Raytheon, where he served as a software development and integration manager. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University

Paul Shultz was formerly an Executive Committee member and South Regional GM at Slalom. For 8 years, Eric and Mike were key parts of Paul’s leadership team there. His priority will be helping guide the evolution of a large, people-centric consulting business with evolv. “We had a lot of fun starting in 2010 together and I couldn’t resist the chance to help them now. It will be interesting to add this responsibility to my retirement activities,” said Shultz. He has also held executive positions at Protiviti, Hitachi and Andersen Business Consulting and for a decade, he was the CIO of a publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company.

“We’re excited to welcome these two distinguished gentlemen to our board. As I look at what has worked for us so far, having the opportunity to surround ourselves with such an esteemed group of executives is an honor as we steer this company and evolve this industry.”

– Mike Bogda, Co-Founder and COO
